Kathleen has had a full time career as a community association manager since September, 1984 after earning a BA in English from Oakland University.  She served as the executive director of the Michigan Chapter of Community Associations Institute from May, 2004 to January, 2008.  She was awarded her PCAM in March, 2006 following a case study in Dallas, TX in January of 2006.  She has been a speaker at conferences and seminars in Michigan and Illinois since 1997 on topics ranging from community communications, insurance and risk management, maintenance issues and organization and stress management.  She is a member of Community Associations Institute, Professional Community Managers and the National Association of the Self Employed.

Michael has been in the real estate industry for the past 25 years.  He is a licensed attorney and real estate broker in the state of Michigan.  With extensive background in residential development and building, Michael’s experience provides a solid foundation in the representation of community associations.  Michael is responsible for community management and business development.

Wendy has over 20 years of experience in providing outstanding client service as both a small business owner and director of operations.  Always having been in service related positions, she has developed client relationships with business owners, presidents, general managers and employees that span a wide variety of industries.  Wendy is responsible for streamlining processes, developing on-going client procedures and keeping Highlander Group in the forefront of technology which all contribute to outstanding client service.

Amanda L. Gruzin

Mariah has been a community association manager since 1995 excluding time off to start a family.  She works as a full time manager for Highlander Group, including managing the community in which she lives.  Mariah is a member of Community Associations Institute and the Association of Professional Community Managers.
